Could you please tell me who is responsible for detecting underground leaks? Water losses at our facility have increased over the past two months, yet we have been unable to identify the cause. There are no visible leaks, and the area is quite large. Some of the pipes run under the asphalt and through production zones. We can’t just start digging randomly because that would immediately disrupt workshop operations, causing downtime. We simply don’t have time for trial and error.

I’m a maintenance engineer, and the situation is becoming stressful. Management is asking about the losses, but we can’t provide any answers. We’ve already inspected the main areas ourselves, but to no avail. Is there are any specialists who can locate such leaks without digging and how that actually works.

We had same problem in production facility I work for. Costs were rising, but there were no visible signs of a problem. Management turned to the specialists at Mayaglobal, who work with utilities as a Professional leak detection company, though not exclusively. They found a leak under the asphalt near the warehouse that we would never have been able to find on our own. The best part is that we didn’t have to dig everything up. They reinforced the pipe from the inside, which seemed “magical” to me. That’s why I think it’s worth bringing in specialists right away, especially if there’s a problem with a gas line, but if it’s a water issue, then you can still try to find the leak yourself.
